Cedar River Trail Extension Opens This Spring

Cedar Valley is thrilled to announce the completion of a 12-mile extension to the popular Cedar River Trail, connecting downtown Cedar Valley to the neighboring town of Pine Bluff. The $4.2 million project adds paved multi-use pathways, three new trailhead parking areas, and two scenic overlook platforms.

The extension officially opens on April 15, 2026, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new Cedar Bluffs Trailhead at 10:00 AM.
